Lighting for Marquees
Lighting your marquee is great fun. The one thing you can be sure of is there will never be enough power sockets to meet everyone's needs. You may have a band, caterers and need lighting for tables. You are probably going to be running from a generator, and that's when you will definitely want our ultra bright low power consumption LEDs. 800 white LEDs only use the same amount of power as one 60watt domestic light bulb!
Weddings & Special Birthday Parties
Our recommendation would be to provide ambient marquee lighting with Warm White or White LED string lights either overhead or around the inside perimeter of the marquee. Wrap them round particularly interesting shapes or windows.
Each set of 100 LED bulbs is 10m long and uses a very small amount of electricity. You will also be delighted to know that these LED string lights are connectable and therefore only require one socket for up to 50 sets (5000 bulbs).

Themed Evenings
When you are feeling bold and you really want to make a statement – then we have a huge range of bold colours to suit you. We have 'String Lights' and 'Rope Lights' in Ultraviolet Purple, or Bright Pink. For autumn 2009 we have a brand new range of 'Golf ball' sized party lights in bright Multicolour or Warm White LED. These new lights are exclusive to Lights4fun and are also connectable – so it is possible to hang them in 'chains' above a dance floor to great effect.
Golden Rules of Marquee Lighting -
Use LEDs so the canvass or inner lining of the marquee does not get hot. Connectable lights require only one socket, and LEDs don’t use much power, which is great to know if you are using a generator.
Think about ambient lighting for bar areas, brighter lighting for the dance floor and subtle lighting for the dining tables. LED battery fairy lights add the finishing touches to marquee table decorations.
