Our icicle lights have a number of safety features to ensure that you can enjoy creating and using your light
displays with complete peace of mind. With us, you only get professional standard, safety-enhanced products. Avoid
cheap imitations.
Weather Resistance
Due to a majority of the outdoor icicle lights being weather resistant, there is no danger of rain or wind
interfering with the circuits and damaging lights or causing hazards. The IP44 cable and double epoxy sealed bulbs
are especially resistant and gives your lights a high degree of protection. This safety feature also doubles up as
a convenience factor in the way that you can leave the lights up all year round without fear of damage. So, if you
only use them during the darker winter periods, you don't have to climb up and attach/dismantle them at the
beginning and end of the season.
Fused Bulb Technology
In the unlikely event of one of your bulbs breaking, the fused bulb technology included in all of our icicle
lights will ensure that the rest of the circuit is not broken. If you have a display attached to a high,
difficult-to-reach place, you don't have to climb up and spend time working out which bulb has tripped the circuit.
Putting Up Lights
It is often overlooked, but taking caution when putting up your icicle lights is a must. Here are some tips to remember:
- Don't work solo - a friend can help you to stabilise ladders or get you out of trouble in the event of an emergency.
- Don't stand on the top steps of the ladder.
- Ensure that you don't overload circuits with too many extension cords.
