Common questions with simple answers

How can I track my order?

Order tracking is available with a majority of our delivery services. With Royal Mail and Yodel tracked deliveries, you'll receive an email directly from the courier with the status of your parcel. If you choose our recommended DPD courier service you'll benefit from:

  • An email from DPD with your tracking link.
  • A text message with your tracking link.
  • An email and text message on your delivery day, with a 1-hour window for delivery.

If you're struggling to track your order, you can always call us on 01423 816040. We have a great relationship with our couriers and are happy to contact them on your behalf.

Do you deliver to BFPO?

Yes we do, however, this service is only available with telephone orders. Unfortunately with our courier services this isn't possible.

Why is Northern Ireland delivery more expensive?

If you're at the checkout and see delivery to Northern Ireland is more expensive than UK mainland, it's probably because your order value or weight is over £30 or 1kg. We only offer courier deliveries on heavier and higher value orders which have a slightly higher price than UK mainland. We make no profit on delivery services.

If you want Royal Mail to deliver your items, you must ensure your order is under £30 or 1kg. This also applies to Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Isles & other remote postcodes listed above.

What happens if I'm not in for my delivery?

Royal Mail deliveries will go back to your local sorting office and a card will be put through your letterbox with a collection reference. Please follow the instructions on this card. Your sorting office opening times will be on the reverse of this card.

For all courier deliveries you will be left a calling card and your order will go back out for delivery on the next working day. You will only have 2 delivery attempts. If both are unsuccessful your order will be returned to Lights4fun and you will be charged for a further re-delivery. If you decide to cancel your order at this point you may not receive your original delivery charge back.

Can I have my order delivered elsewhere?

For a first order with Lights4fun over the phone we must deliver to your billing address. You can however, deliver to another address if you complete your order online through our secure checkout. Once the order has been placed it is very unlikely we can guarantee an address change. If your order has already been processed or dispatched with our courier, there would be a charge to amend the delivery address. The only exception in this case is if you are changing delivery to a neighbour on the same street. This decision is entirely at the discretion of the courier.
