When can I expect delivery ?
If all the items you have requested are in stock, then you will be asked to select an order date and your goods will be delivered to you on that date. If any items are 'awaiting stock', then our sales office will contact you nearer the time (either by phone or email) to advise you of the anticipated delivery date.
Home delivery is undertaken by 'Initial City Link'.
If you are only ordering a small amount of battery lights (under 10 sets) then these are delivered by Royal Mail first class
How much will delivery cost?
If you spend £200 or more then delivery to most UK mainland addresses is free. For orders under £200, the delivery charge for all areas of England Wales and Southern Scotland is £7.95. If you are ordering outside UK mainland then delivery is £17.95 for orders under £200 and £10.00 for orders over £200. Our computer system calculates the delivery charge based on your region. Delivery is arranged as your order is confirmed, and if you live in mainland UK, you should receive your order within 3 working days.
If you are only ordering a small amount of battery lights (under 10 sets) then these are delivered by Royal Mail first class. The delivery cost of fewer than 10 battery lights is £1.50 for the first set and 60p for every set there after. You will only be charged £7.95 when you order 10 or more as these will be delivered by our courier.
When do deliveries normally take place?
Unless by special arrangement (and payment) they will be Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Does someone need to be in to receive the goods?
Yes, City Link will require a signature to leave your delivery and most of our royal mail parcels will not fit through a standard letter box.
Can I have the goods delivered to work or another address?
Yes of course. We are happy to deliver your order to another UK mainland address where someone can sign for the goods. Call us urgently before the goods leave our warehouse.
What happens if I am not in on the due date?
Both the royal mail and city link will leave a delivery card. Royal mail will ask you to collect the parcel from a nominated local post office. City Link will ask you to arrange another delivery day with their local office.
