100% Success for outdoor LED Connectable Fairy Lights in Peterborough
Peterborough City Council teamed up with Lights4fun to decorate 67 trees and the main 40ft Christmas tree in the town centre last Christmas.
The council were ‘very impressed’ with the quality and energy saving capabilities of the outdoor LED fairy lights supplied by Lights4fun. Each set of 100 LED bulbs (10m) uses only 9watts of electricity – which is on average a 90% cost saving on traditional outdoor fairy lights. They were delighted that each set would connect to others and that only one plug was required for up to 50 sets!
After initial tests, Peterborough Council were so impressed – they bought over 1,000 sets of rubber cabled LED fairy lights in Blue and White – enough to run for a whole kilometer! The trees around the town centre looked magnificent in blue. (See the photo above).
The white outdoor connectable LED fairy lights were reserved for the centre piece 40ft Norwegian Christmas tree in the main square . This photograph shows the tree illuminated – the moment the lights were all switched on. Despite the bright lights of the fair ground – the LED lights on the Christmas tree still looked amazing (as above). Only 2 plugs were required for all those lights. Great Quality - Not one set of the LED outdoor fairy lights purchased were reported faulty, and they will no doubt be appearing at different locations within Peterborough for the next few years.

They are available in a range of colours, including blue, pure white, red, green, multicoloured and pure white and blue alternate bulbs. The rubber cables are made to IP44 standard to withstand the worst of the British weather and the bulbs are expected to last for 100,000 hours.
