The ‘Lights4Fun’ Story
Tim Naughton started 'Lights4fun.co.uk' because he was frustrated by the unreliability of poor quality Christmas lights available in the UK.
The typical mass produced fairy lights which were often described as ‘suitable for Indoor and outdoor use’ always seemed to fail in the British weather.
Tim scoured the world and found a high quality commercial product in Germany. After endless research he launched 'The Christmas Lights Company' through a catalogue in 2002. Initial sales were very strong and in 2003 the business was launched on the internet as ‘Lights4fun.co.uk’, quickly establishing a loyal customer base.
Lights4fun now offers a full range of indoor and outdoor Christmas and event lighting, manufactured to the highest standards. The most popular indoor product is a range LED battery lights from only £4. These flexible tiny LED’s can add ambiance to any occasion where powered lighting is not always possible. LED battery lights are particularly popular with event companies, florists, hotels and restaurants where creative table and floral decorations are required.
For outdoors, Lights4fun has introduced a new and innovative energy saving, quality LED connectible lighting system. Each set of the outdoor ‘String Lights’ for example is 10m long, has100 waterproofed ultra bright Led bulbs and only consumes 9 watts of power. It is possible to connect 50 sets (500m) from just one socket and still only use the same power as two traditional sets of fairy lights (90% energy cost saving). This new LED product is available in six vibrant colours, has a full range of accessories and can be intermixed for amazing effects.
