Put up your outdoor Christmas lights in September – you must be joking?

Your neighbours might think you are mad if they saw you putting Christmas decorations up in September, but putting up your outdoor Christmas lights in warm weather is such a good idea. Avoid frozen fingers, slippery ladders and dangerous iced ledges.
