From the Pumpkin Patch

As the leaves begin to fall and the darker evenings roll in, we look to enjoy time spent outside in the cool crisp air, rekindling connections and making new memories. Embracing the cycles of each season and spending time outdoors going for walks in the woods and taking quiet moments away is the perfect way to focus on our wellbeing throughout the upcoming months. Take comfort in wrapping up warm and welcome the colder months, celebrating autumn and all that it brings. Below are our favourite ways to embrace the outdoors with autumn decorations this cosy season.
The cooler temperatures bring new opportunities to really get cosy; gathering around the firepit, toasting marshmallows and enjoying the crisp autumn air as you snuggle up in cosy blankets. Decorate your outdoor seating areas by adorning traditional style festoon lights overhead, securing to tree branches for an even subtle glow to add warmth to your autumn nights. Adding waterproof ivory TruGlow® candles to outdoor table tops creates a cosy mid-level to your evening as the soft flicker of the candles complements the soothing warmth of your autumnal campfire, forming an idyllic atmosphere as the day light begins to disappear.
Create a warm welcome home from your autumnal walk by adorning entranceways and porches with seasonal wreaths and garlands. The cheerful colour palette of rich oranges, muted reds and splashes of plum, paired with the soft glow of micro lights intertwined amongst foliage will guide you home on a cosy autumn evening. Start to style your entrance by arching autumn garlands around the top of your doorway and hang a wreath from your front door, using a door hanger to secure it in place. Add the perfect finishing touch to your porch by placing outdoor candles and black garden lanterns around the foot your entrance, mixing and matching various heights and sizes to create a cosy afterglow.
Whilst the time spent outdoors can help you feel refreshed and uplifted, the beauty of autumn can also be brought indoors to bring an authentic sense of calmness into your home. For a seamless transition from the outdoors in, take inspiration from the forest floor with natural foliage and soft colours of sage to introduce a soothing atmosphere and make for the most perfect autumnal setting as you wind down each evening.
