Head of UK & USA Amazon - Full Time

A great opportunity

We’re looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Amazon expert to lead the strategy on Amazon & other Marketplaces in the UK and the United States. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in the rapid growth of Europe’s leading online decorative lighting retailer.

As one of the first adopters of the FBA program in Europe we have built a strong lasting relationship with Amazon. Recognised as one of their key sellers, we engage regularly in two-way feedback as to how we can improve efficiency, the customer experience and drive growth.

With over 10 years of Amazon experience, we have driven our metrics into the top 15% of FBA & MFN sellers and we pride ourselves on being “Amazon experts”. Despite already sitting in the top 1% of Amazon sellers on revenue we still see there being a huge opportunity for future growth, particularly on US Amazon when benchmarking against other revenue earners within that top 1%.

We are looking for a candidate who knows exactly how to leverage Amazon’s programs and tools to drive best in class search visibility, customer ratings, product presentation & margins.

Key responsibilities

Full ownership of new & existing product strategies, pricing and promotional activities (including key paid advertising tools of Amazon Sponsored Products & Sponsored Brands) across our UK & US Marketplace channels to drive sales and profit growth

Developing and monitoring KPIs for our UK & US Marketplace channel managers and leading the US & UK Marketplace team

Oversee ongoing design and development of existing Marketplaces and lead the launch onto new marketplaces in the UK & US.

Ensuring optimum product placement, merchandising, SEO optimization and visibility across all UK & US Marketplaces

Using channel analysis and insight to improve marketplace efficiency and drive sales.

Ensures that our brand and product content is always best in class, monitoring product performance and proactively seeking ways in which we can improve it.

Owning our direct relationships with UK & US Amazon account managers to build strong mutual partnerships with Amazon

Ensure the timely launch of new products across UK & US Marketplace channels

Research and identify new potential opportunities for online marketplaces, presenting outcomes to the senior management team and board

Monitor and review competitors, market trends and fast-moving products regularly to understand best practices and new opportunities

Working closely with the Product & the Commercial teams to ensure optimum demand fulfilment, predicting customer demand and forecasting Marketplace sales

You will continuously optimise stock levels, with regular monitoring, control and replenishment of stock levels

Identifying opportunities for new features and functionality across Marketplaces that can improve key site metrics

Full ownership of the UK & US Marketplace channel P&Ls & KPIs

Requirements

Educated to degree level

5+ years’ experience and a demonstrable success of successfully managing and growing Amazon accounts

Must have a thorough understanding of marketplaces, marketplace tools and advertising concepts, and marketplace industry trends

Strong understanding and demonstrable experience with Amazon Seller central

Highly analytically minded and a keen eye for detail, you thrive on solving problems and working the system

Strong Excel Skills

Excellent communication skills

We are a fast-moving business so you will be able to adapt quickly and successfully with the ability to work under pressure

Able to work with different teams to achieve the overall company

 


German Speaking Customer Experience Advisor - Full Time (Maternity Cover)

Contributing within a thriving Customer Experience team your role is to deliver an exceptional and consistent quality service and experience for our valued customers. Our responsibility is to demonstrate customer service excellence by advising efficiently and effectively to all customer enquiries and taking pride in delivering exceptional customer care and satisfaction.

The role would suit someone who is friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic and accurate and who is able to work closely with other team members. Applicants for this role must be fluent in both spoken and written German and ideally able to demonstrate an understanding of German customer values.

Main responsibilities:

To represent Lights4fun at all times in a positive and professional manner.

To put our customer at the centre of everything we say and do, ensuring the best possible customer experience at all times.

To willingly accept responsibility and ownership for every call, following it through to the best conclusion.

To capture customer comments and ensure all suggestions are passed on to support our business.

To work towards individual targets whilst contributing to and being part of the wider Customer Experience Department Team.

German Marketing Assistant - Full Time

A great opportunity

Part of an exciting and expanding Marketing team, this role will support the German marketing team to deliver the Marketing strategy. Working closely with the Marketing Managers, you will be involved with content, social media, PPC, CRM, PR and day to day running of the website. This role is perfect for a driven and creative candidate looking to develop their Marketing skills and offers the opportunity for progression within the business.

Main Responsibilities:

Content creation: Support the content strategy by writing content for all channels and writing creatively for blog articles, social media & the website.

CRM: Support the planning & creation of weekly email marketing campaigns.

Social Media: Assist the team by helping to develop and support all social media channels.

Search: Assist the PPC and SEO strategy. This will include learning all things search Engine Marketing including Google & Bing advertising.

PR/Influencer Outreach: Support the PR/Outreach team with researching and communicating with influencers, building lasting relationships and working with them to deliver valuable campaigns.

Website: assist in optimising the website.

Must have:

Customer Experience Advisor - Full Time

We are looking for someone to join our highly motivated and passionate Customer Experience Team. Based at our HQ in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, you will play a key role in supporting the team during our very busy peak season period. You will deliver exceptional customer service excellence by dealing with and advising on a variety of customer enquiries in a fast-paced environment. This role would suit someone who is hardworking, enthusiastic, has a keen eye for detail and is able to work under pressure as part of a team or on their own. Although training will be provided it will be of advantage to have previous customer service experience. This role will include weekend work during November and December.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Working as part of the team to deliver the Lights4fun outstanding customer service experience through incoming and outgoing telephone calls, e-mail communication.

To accept inbound calls from our customers, dealing with orders, and queries regarding products, service or delivery in line with our policies

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Customer Experience Advisor USA to join our expanding team.

Based at our vibrant Head Office in Harrogate our responsibility is to demonstrate customer service excellence by advising efficiently and effectively to all customer enquiries and taking pride in delivering exceptional customer care and satisfaction. The role would suit someone who is friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic and accurate and who is able to work closely with other team members in a fast-paced environment. Previous work experience and understanding of US customers & customer behaviour is desirable.

Key responsibilities

- Create engaging copy and designs for our Amazon product listings & storefronts

- Deliver exceptional and consistent quality customer service and experience for US Amazon customers

- Perform organic keyword research to identify key words and search terms that can help with listing SEO optimization

- Assist with managing and optimising our stock level across fulfilment centres

- Assist with weekly and monthly reporting of key performance metrics

- Closely monitoring Account Health and working to resolve any issues with our shipping, product or customer service performance

- Reporting on product & listing customer feedback & working closely with the Product & Marketplace teams to resolve any issues and identify opportunities.

Owning all US & UK Amazon related admin including:

Reporting sellers on our listings or using our photography

Identifying and fixing integration errors

Updating/improving product listings as required

Dealing with stranded inventory
