Our goal is to keep this website fresh and exciting. We create timely editorials to replace content that becomes out-dated or out-of-season and move and expand portions of the site. We cannot guarantee that something you may have seen on a previous visit will still feature on our website when you visit again. We reserve the right to make changes to the website without prior notice.

Product display

We have made every effort to display the products featured as accurately as possible. However, the colours we use, as well as the display and colour capabilities of your particular computer monitor, may greatly affect the colours you actually see on the screen. Lights4fun Ltd cannot be held responsible for any limitations of your monitor and cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour, texture, or detail of merchandise will be accurate / the same as the actual product.

Product pricing

In the very rare event of a product price discrepancy, the purchase price of the product on the Lights4fun website prevails over the price that may appear on the delivery or product packaging. You will always be charged the price that is displayed on the checkout page. If the price is reduced after you purchased the item at full price, we cannot refund the difference. If you become a subscriber to our Lights4fun newsletter we will endeavour to inform you at least 12 hours prior to any promotional activity that will take place on our website, however in exceptional circumstances promotions on our website may be added without prior notice.

Orders lost in transit

For orders that are lost in transit using Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class, 14 days have to pass from the date of dispatch before an investigation can be opened. 90% of the time a lost parcel will eventually be returned to Lights4fun as 'not called for' from a local sorting office so please visit your sorting Office Depot, not your local post office to check if a parcel is being held for you. Once 14 days have passed, we can then open an investigation.
We will not replace or refund any parcel that is lost in transit before the 14 days have passed.
All orders placed using our express delivery courier option are fully insured and tracked for peace of mind. If your items become lost in transit on our express delivery service, we will file a claim with the courier and ensure your order is fulfilled as soon as possible.

Booking an electrician

Lights4fun recommends that you only book an electrical contractor once you have received all of your items and are satisfied these are fit for purpose.
Lights4fun is not responsible and cannot be liable for any costs incurred by late delivery, pre-booked electrical installers, installation or removal of your lighting display.

Email confirmation

Once your order has been received you will receive a confirmation email. Your order is an offer to us to purchase a product and is accepted upon despatch. This will be confirmed by a despatch confirmation email.
Lights4fun reserves the right not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to payment problems, product availability and not meeting our eligibility criteria.

Payment problems

In the event of a failure collecting payment from a debit/credit card once we have confirmed receipt of your order we will not be obliged to despatch the order. In addition, there may be some occasions when we may be unable to process your order. This may be due to the item being out of stock or no longer available, the payment is declined or because of a technical error.
If you are experiencing difficulties when making a payment, please ensure you have inputted the correct details by checking all of the information. If all the information is correct and you are using a valid card, your credit card company or bank may have more information. If the above doesn’t help, then please contact us for assistance.

Security checks

Lights4fun takes card fraud seriously and for your protection, it is our policy to conduct security checks on all orders. This may involve contacting you by telephone before your order is processed.

We also retain the services of credit rating and card fraud prevention companies and may share details of your order with them in order to prevent the fraudulent use of your credit/debit cards. Returning an unwanted item?

We understand, sometimes it doesn’t work for you and
you want to return your item for a refund. You can return your item to us within 30 days of receiving your original order, as long as it’s unused and in a resaleable condition. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • Click here to submit your return request and print your returns note. Pop your returns note inside the parcel, so we know who you are! If you cannot print the returns form, just put a note inside the parcel with your order number, name and address and reason for returning. You will find the returns address on the form.
  • You can also contact us either by sending us a message via our contact
    form, writing to us by email ( or calling 01423 816 040 to speak to our friendly team.
  • Returned items are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse and we do not cover the returns postage. The items don’t need to be in the original box or bag, but please ensure they're packed up properly and can't get damaged on the way! We do not assume responsibility for any returns damaged in transit.
  • All goods are inspected upon return, and a decision will be made on refund within 14 days.
  • If an item is returned to us damaged or in an unsuitable condition, refunds will be at our discretion, and we reserve the right to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs).
  • Where applicable, we will refund the price you purchased your item at, including sale items or items with multi-buy discounts.
  • We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us by mistake (it happens!). If we are able to locate the items (it's not always possible) and you'd like these returned to you, we will ask you to cover the delivery cost.
  • We are not able to cover the returns postage, please choose a suitable courier; the parcel remains your responsibility until it arrives back with us. Please obtain proof of postage in case you need to contact us about your return.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to return your order via a courier return. You can request a collection on a date of your choice – from your home, or another address. You can also leave your parcel in a safe place if you are not going to be in or return via a parcel shop or locker to fit in with your routine.
Want to exchange an item?

We don’t offer free exchange of an item. All returned items will be refunded once they've been received by our warehouse. Need a different quantity or colour of an item? Simply place a new order and follow the returns process above!

Received a fault or incorrect item?
  • If, in the unfortunate event you have received an item which isn’t quite right, please let us know here. Once your form is submitted our friendly team will be in touch asap. If your product is faulty, please refer to the product label where you can find the product number and batch code information. The label is usually attached to the product itself or included on the inside packaging. Please note, although you may remove the label from the product, we do ask that you retain this for future reference as without the label your guarantee will be void.
  • You can also contact us either by writing to us, calling 01423 816 040 or sending us a message via our contact form to let us know what’s gone wrong. Please provide as much detail as possible about the reason you are contacting us along with the product information as above. Please do not return a faulty item without letting us know first.
  • Please note all solar products need direct sunlight to charge. If your solar product doesn’t light up on the first night in use, please leave it to charge for a further day before contacting us. Due to storage the solar battery might need a little longer to fully charge. Please also check that the product is switched on (if applicable) and that the solar panel is positioned in direct sunlight.
Did you order from Amazon?

Please log into your Amazon Account, find your order and follow the steps to return an item. We are unable to access your Amazon account or process a return on your behalf if ordered through Amazon

What should I do if my refund is incorrect?

The Lights4fun guarantee - our promise to you!

At Lights4fun we pride ourselves in all we do and the work that goes into designing and producing our products. We are proud to offer a 2-year warranty on all products! We also offer an extended 3-year warranty on Reindeer products purchased between 1stOctober 2022 and 31 December 2022! This means, if your product is not working as expected (excl. usual wear & tear, weather influences, failure or damage caused by improper use), simply contact us and we will get this right for you.

Right to cancel this agreement

Under the Consumer Contracts regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your agreement with Lights4fun within a period of 14 calendar days. This period begins the day after you receive the goods.

Please contact us as soon as possible to notify us of your cancellation request. If your order has already been dispatched then you will need to either refuse delivery or return the goods. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the product. Goods must be returned before a refund will be processed and the product must be returned in its original condition.

How you can cancel this agreement

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your agreement, you can do so by writing to us, calling 01423 816 040, or send us a message via our contact form. Orders can only be cancelled before processing/despatch has begun.

Once your order has been successfully cancelled and agreed by Lights4fun, any sum debited from your payment card by us will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible. If cancelled orders are erroneously delivered to you, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.

How Lights4fun can cancel this agreement

We reserve the right to cancel the order if:-

  • We have insufficient stock to fulfil your order and an alternative is not suitable
  • We are unable to obtain payment
  • We do not deliver to your area
  • A product fault or an error in the product description has been identified
Waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE)

Lights4fun takes its environmental obligations seriously and we recycle wherever possible. Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste areas and much of it can be recycled to make new consumer goods. With effect from July 2007, the UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations have required that all retailers both actively assist in delivering a UK wide WEEE collection infrastructure and encourage their customers to participate in recycling. So that our customers can get their waste electrical goods recycled, Lights4fun has contributed towards a national fund to assist local councils to further develop their existing waste electronics collection facilities. In order to assist customers in remembering that electronic goods can be recycled and therefore should not be placed in the general waste, all products of this type are now marked with a crossed out wheelie bin symbol. Please help us to minimise the effect we have on the environment by recycling your waste electrical goods. Promotional codes

We cannot retrospectively apply a promotional code to your order. If you place an order without correctly applying the promotional code, or if you receive a promotional code through mail correspondence, a marketing email or a social media promotion after you have placed an order, we will be unable to reimburse you the discount regardless of how recently said order was placed. If you are having difficulty applying your code or believe your code to be faulty, please contact our customer service team who will gladly investigate for you. Please note: To receive FREE delivery, the total amount of £60 or more must be payable after any promotional discounts have been applied to your order.

If you receive a promotional code through mail correspondence, a marketing email or a social media promotion, you must use the code before the promotion in question expires in order to receive your discount. We cannot accept promotional codes after their stated expiry date. Expiry dates for promotional codes always, unless stated otherwise, refer to the end of the day on which the code expires. For example, a promotional code or discount ending on June 5th will cease to work after 23:59 on June 5th. Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any form of cashback.

All promotions offered are inclusive of VAT. If you are ordering from a VAT free location, please be aware that the promotional offer/discount will be adjusted accordingly along with the product prices. We are unable to apply a promotional code to an out of stock item, or to a product marked as coming soon.

However, there may be occasions when some of the information featured may contain incomplete data, typographical errors, or inaccuracies. Any errors are wholly unintentional and we apologise if erroneous information is reflected in merchandise price or item availability. We try to ensure that all pricing on the website is accurate, but occasionally an error may occur and goods may be incorrectly priced. If we discover that a pricing error has been made, we reserve the right to suspend your order and contact you to ask whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price. We will not be obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. We present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either expressed or implied. We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice.

Website access

Given the unpredictability of technology and the online environment, Lights4fun does not warrant that the function or operation of this website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available will be free of viruses or other harmful elements. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction. As a visitor to, and user of this website, you must assume full responsibility for any costs associated with the servicing of equipment employed in connection with your use of our site. In effect, you agree that your access will be subject to these terms and conditions and that such access is undertaken at your own risk. Lights4fun Ltd shall not be liable for damages or losses of any kind which you may incur from your use of or inability to access this site.

To provide a greater range of goods, we may provide links to other websites or resources for you to access if you so wish. You acknowledge and agree that, as you have chosen to click on the link, Lights4fun is not liable in respect of the use of these websites or resources.

Your account

If you use the website, it is your responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of your account and password and that no unauthorised persons have access to them. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should let us know immediately if you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.

Please ensure that your personal details are up-to-date and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering.

Lights4fun reserves the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, you will not be charged.


We operate a complaints handling procedure which we will use to try to resolve disputes when they first arise: please let us know if you have any complaints or comments.

Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.


If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.


This is a UK registered website and we have no legal obligation to supply items with zero VAT. Please note: it is not possible to reclaim the VAT after the purchase has been made. EU VAT numbers are accepted, please contact us for a VAT free quotation. All queries relating to VAT should be made to the HM Customs on 0845 010 9000.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
