Garden Lighting Tips!
Written by: Ella Carpenter
The weather for next week is looking a little brighter which means we can all make our way back into the garden! Right now we’re all about getting our gardens back on track and ready to host a last minute get together with friends and family. A few of our easy garden lighting tips are sure to point you in the right direction for the perfect spring setting!
Lighting by day & night
Lighting in your outdoor space can turn your garden into a completely different place! Lighting up dark corners and illuminating garden paths creates a magical feel come evening. When designing your outdoor space, it’s important to remember that although lighting is designed for the evening, it needs to look great in the day too! Garden lanterns and outdoor festoon lights are perfect for this! Detailing on lanterns makes for a stand out piece during the day and clear cap festoons give for a fun feel! Our top tip is to take a look from inside your home and make sure your outdoor decor flows naturally into your outdoor space.
Create a canopy!
This time of year the weather can be a little up and down! The best place to start in your garden is to find an area that is a little sun trap to create a canopy over. Simply swag outdoor fairy lights over and around the area for that cosy feel! This way even if the sun goes down you can still enjoy some sparkle in your outdoor space. This works well with fairy lights for a subtle sparkle or festoons for an on trend display. Whichever you prefer, accessorise with cushions and blankets for a soft feel that can easily be brought out on warmer days!

How many lights?
Whether you’re going for fairy lights or festoons it can be tricky to get the length right! To make this super easy, we recommend getting a simple ball of string. Simply swag the string how you would like the lights to look around your garden. Once you’ve achieved your vision simply measure up the length of the string and order lights to match! Our connectable range of lights have flexible 5m & 10m lengths that can be easily added to extend your display!
