Hanging Easter Wreath DIY

Brighten up your Easter celebrations with a charming hanging wreath, the perfect centrepiece for your spring table. Using some of our favourite Easter decorations, this simple yet beautiful DIY will add a playful touch to your seasonal styling—think twinkling microlights, pretty ribbons and whimsical wooden bunnies!

What you’ll need...

Wooden craft hoop
Easter garland
Wooden decorations (bunnies, eggs, or anything you love!)
Ribbon (cut into 4 equal pieces)
Microlights for a twinkling touch
(Optional) Florals & foliage for extra springtime charm

Step 1.

Wrap Your Garland

Take your Easter garland and carefully weave it around your wooden hoop, securing it in place with glue, wire or small cable ties.

Step 2.

Attach the Ribbon

Evenly space your four ribbon pieces around the hoop, then tie them together in a neat knot at the top—this is how your wreath will hang beautifully.

Step 3.

Add Your Finishing Touches

Time to get creative! Attach your wooden decorations and weave microlights around the wreath for a soft glow. Want even more impact? Add sprigs of foliage or dried flowers to bring extra texture and colour, we used gypsophila to elevate further.

Step 4.

Hang & Enjoy

Find the perfect spot to showcase your creation—above your Easter dining table as a joyful centrepiece or in a sunny window for others to enjoy.
