How do you hang outdoor lights?

Your approach for hanging outdoor lights depends on your garden’s layout and where you hope to hang your lights, be it a fence, trees, or a patio.

  • Walls and Fences: Experiment with gutter hooks or adhesive clips to hang lights from. If you’re looking for more of a permanent solution, however, consider screw-in hooks or eyelet bolts for extra security.
  • Trees: Trees lit with fairy lights give your garden a magical quality. To achieve this look, we recommend beginning at the base and wrapping upwards.
  • Support Wires: If you’re using heavier festoon lights across a large space, we recommend hanging them from support wires capable of holding their weight.
What are the benefits of using solar and smart lighting?

Solar lights and smart lights boast a range of convenient benefits. They are an eco-friendly alternative, known to drastically reduce energy consumption.

Solar lights rely entirely on renewable energy from the sun and brighten up your space without the need for wires or proximity to mains sockets. Smart lights, however, use automated schedules or motion sensors. They are a popular choice for both reducing energy costs and deterring burglars.
