 Folk

This festive season, as we draw inspiration from the nostalgia and sentiment this time of year brings, we endeavour to welcome back a wonderfully quaint, cheerily traditional Christmas aesthetic. Hints of colour spread cheer amongst our home and take us back to the most special festive memories. Handmade cards, crafts and good old-fashioned paperchain decorations keep us busy at home during the colder months as we settle down beside a roaring fire to wrap presents with hessian ribbons and charming little bows. A traditional green and red colour palette evokes the most joyful of memories, combined with rustic touches, creating the perfect environment to cosy up and watch your favourite Christmas film!

"Impossibly charming, endearingly quirky. Traditional yet unstuffy, colourful yet quaint: a bit of festive fun."

For added flare, entwine mini mushroom decorations in and amongst the sprigs of pine and foliage to harness that winter forest feel and cosy cottagecore aesthetic; pairing this cheery colour palette with tied bows, pinecones, and winter red berries. Relish bringing the outdoors inside throughout this season of celebrations as wreaths and trees transform any home into a fun-filled space, perfect for a Christmas season full of celebrations.

Peace

All is calm, all is bright. Peaceful and content, this is a soft, timeless approach to the season. Think warm white lights, simple stars, and plain, rustic foliage, for a simple yet effective way to illuminate neutral homes with a warm and cosy glow throughout the festive season.

Deck the halls with all that sparkles: the brightest stars, the frostiest snowflakes, the most peaceful aesthetic. Keeping a classic touch with the simple silhouettes of stars and muted faux foliage of eucalyptus, dressed in warm white micro lights that create a golden glow from within. A garland is the most timeless décor piece you can add to your mantle and can be nestled amongst candles, fairy lights and Christmas cards carefully placed upon your chimney breast. Neutral tones of mistletoe and white berries create a timeless and elegant touch of sparkle that will magically illuminate your space. Drawing on inspiration from the Scandinavian trend we saw appear throughout our interiors last year, we anticipate more of these neutral, minimalistic decorations to embellish our homes this Christmas.

“However you celebrate, wherever you celebrate: welcome to The Home of Christmas."
