Spring Trends
Written by: Grace Agar
This springtime we look forward to a season full of easy outdoor living with bright early mornings and warm balmy evenings. With the days beginning to get longer and the sun starting to(hopefully) shine through, we look to bring the indoors out, embracing the true essence Spring. As we begin to uplift our homes with new seasonal additions, we’re delving into the biggest interior trends that you should incorporate into your home this Spring.
This season we expect to see less minimalism and instead, a resurgence of colour and chaos as the dominant trend. Mixing patterns, textures, and colours to bring life to your space, imagine colourful outdoor living filled with terracotta pots, checked and ruffled cushions and tablescapes overflowing with colourful crockery. Create dimension and interest by placing vintage wooden crates beside your outdoor seating area to create little tables, and choose outdoor ivory TruGlow® candles to style on top to bring a gentle glow to your space as the evening begins to settle in. The combination of different textures and energised pastel colour palette mixed with with a warm white glow will blur the lines between the indoors and out, with a classic yet timeless nod to springtime.
This season is all about rejuvenating antiques, incorporating imperfect textures and different materials for a vintage feel, as the return of shabby chic is set to make a return to homes and gardens. Embrace the perfectly imperfect, with sun-bleached wooden garden furniture and fairy lights adorned across weathered brick walls. A soft yet simple colour palette of sage-green and rose pink is introduced, with pretty-in-pink blooms styled in rustic ornaments of retro tins and galvanised jugs and planters in place of vases; whilst homely touches of apple crates and terracotta pots entwined with micro lights bring a hint of vintage to outdoor dining.
