Lights4fun 2024 Highlights

2024 has seen us launch several exciting new products and collaborations. Taking our classic TruGlow® design and elevating it with innovative scent diffuser technology, we launched our TruGlow AIR® after two years in the making. With an exclusive design, the ivory-coloured candle features a warm white LED flame with a gentle flicker, and the optional diffuser function provides vast fragrance coverage whilst maintaining a homely glow that never runs out. As well as this, this Christmas we stirred up some fun with our new The Elf on the Shelf festive lighting collection, all starring Santa’s favourite helper. From fairy lights that made spirits bright to the warming glow of the lovable Scout Elf night light, this range brought so much festive cheer to Lights4fun this year.

To top off our brand-new launches, we have been lucky enough this year to join forces with M&S! Now available to purchase online and in 34 flagship M&S stores, you can now shop a selection of our products in real life for the first time.

This year we decided to go to new lengths to meet more and more of our community that makes Lights4fun so special. After huge success with our event in 2023, this year we decided to go bigger and better, hosting 3 events in various locations around the UK.  

Kicking off summer in the Cotswolds, we were delighted to invite 20 content creators for a summer evening of watercolour painting and fine dining. Set in the Cotswolds countryside, we enjoyed an evening under the fairy lights of The Glasshouse to revel in The Wonder of Summer and celebrate all the collaborations from the year so far. Following this, in November we held our Christmas Find Your Sparkle event, inviting a further selection of content creators for a festive celebration and an exclusive sneak peak into some more new and exciting launches coming in 2025. With our community at the heart of all we do, we loved to meet even more of our community in 2024.  

This year we were lucky enough to support several local charities and business, which has made our year even more special! From our continuing partnerships with Harewood House, Suzie Watson Designs and local Harrogate enterprises, to new and blossoming relationships with Dementia Forward, the team have been busy all year both donating products and time for all of our local favourites. 

Alongside this, 2024 has seen us continue our work with our long-term charity partner, Starlight Children's Foundation. Taking on new challenges, this year our team embarked on the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for Starlight, with Lights4fun doubling the total raised and demonstrating our support for such an incredible charity. As the festive season came along, the team were back at it wrapping presents for the children of Starlight and pulling together a new campaign ‘Share Your Sparkle’ encouraging everyone to share a little extra kindness this Christmas with a pledge, and for each one a donation of £1 went to Starlight.  

It’s been such an honour to work with all of our charity and business partners this year and we can’t wait to see what’s to come for them and all their incredible work in 2025!   

This year we had some exciting new opportunities in the Press world, most notably being the lighting sponsor of the Ideal Home Show! Exclusively illuminating the ‘Ideal Christmas Home’ with an abundance of our festive products and participating in a live panel, our team discussed all things Christmas decorating trend to our festive lighting favourites.- Alongside this, the team held yet another event this year where we celebrated Christmas in July in London, providing some of our closest contacts with an exclusive look into what was to come for Christmas this year!
